MEET DAVE
The Founder and President of The Shipp Group, Dave Shipp has had over 40 years of experience in the construction and development industry. Shipp has achieved a high level of success in all phases of construction including residential, commercial and Industrial project types.
With a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University, Shipp launched his career in commercial development, focusing on building laboratories, campuses and multi-family housing units. While participating in VOALA (Volunteers of America Los Angeles), developing homeless shelters for the community.
Bringing his passion to Southern California, Dave and The Shipp Group have continuously remodeled and built on the cliffs and canyons of Laguna Beach. With a remarkable building history, Dave assembled a highly experienced team, poised for success.

Is my job too big or too small for Shipp?
We encourage you to submit all jobs, for us to review. The Shipp Group can service you in Value Engineering, Cost Engineering, and/or to estimate a preliminary budget. Additionally, we can put you in the position to collaborate with our team or any external service that will ease your pre-construction process.
What is required for Pre-construction?
We can pick up where you left off.
To start, having a display of Objectives; vision, timeline, budget and a clear Work of Scope is sufficient.
We will assess your property and line up Structural Engineers, Soil Reports, Building Permits, in coherence with Municipal Codes and your construction desires.
We have well established relationships with local Architects, Designers and Engineers, which are available if applicable.
